Take off the lid, scoop into bowls, and serve up while it's still nice and hot. Make sure everyone gets plenty of that melted cheese and bacon on top.
02 -
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese and bacon over everything. Toss the lid back on and let all that heat melt the cheese for two or three minutes.
03 -
Turn off the heat and toss in half of your chopped bacon and half the cheese. Give it a stir until the cheese melts into the mix.
04 -
Dial the heat down so it’s just barely bubbling. Let it cook for a couple minutes. Stir every so often until the rice is nice and soft and the liquids are soaked up.
05 -
Go ahead and add in your mustard, ketchup, beef broth, instant rice, and tomato sauce. Stir so everything's well mixed.
06 -
Add in your minced garlic and let it sizzle until it smells good, about a minute or so. Drain off most of the fat. Mix in your seasoned salt so it’s spread around.
07 -
Grab a large skillet and put it on medium-high heat. Toss in your ground beef and diced onions. Cook it for 6-8 minutes, breaking up the meat, until everything’s browned and soft.
