Buster Bar Treat (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

β†’ Crust

01 - Melted butter 1/2 cup (113 g)
02 - Oreo cookies crushed, one 14.3 oz pack

β†’ Filling

03 - Vanilla ice cream softened, about 1/2 gallon (1.9 L)
04 - Spanish peanuts, 1 lb (454 g)

β†’ Topping

05 - Evaporated milk 12 oz (354 ml)
06 - Powdered sugar 2 cups (240 g)
07 - Semi-sweet chocolate chips 12 oz (170 g)
08 - Unsalted butter 1/2 cup (113 g)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Mix melted butter with the crushed Oreos. Press this mix hard into the bottom of a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) pan.
02 - Spread softened vanilla ice cream over the crust. Sprinkle the peanuts on top. Stick the pan in the freezer so it gets firm while you make the topping.
03 - Put powdered sugar, butter, chocolate chips, and evaporated milk in a big pan over medium heat. Stir all the time until the chocolate melts and the mix boils. Turn heat down and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring now and then. Take it off the heat and let it cool all the way down.
04 - Pour the cooled chocolate sauce over the ice cream. Spread it out to cover the whole thing. Put it back in the freezer for around 2 hours until it’s set. Let it sit in the fridge 5 to 10 minutes before serving to soften a bit.
