BBQ Bacon Cheddar Bombs (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Filling and Outside

01 - 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
02 - 8 beef bacon slices
03 - 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

→ Meat Blend

04 - 1/2 teaspoon powder from onion
05 - 1/2 teaspoon powder from garlic
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 1 teaspoon salt
08 - 1 large egg
09 - 1/2 cup bread crumbs
10 - 1 pound beef, ground

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pull 'em out of the oven and dish 'em up while they're still warm.
02 - Pop the tray in and let 'em bake for 25-30 minutes. The bacon should get crispy and the inside should read 160°F (71°C) if you stick a meat thermometer in.
03 - Stick each bacon-wrapped ball on a tray with parchment under it. Brush on some BBQ sauce so they're all covered.
04 - Take your cheesy meat balls and cover each one with a slice of beef bacon, tucking the ends underneath so it stays put.
05 - Split the meat up into eight even parts. Squash each one flat, drop some shredded cheddar in the middle, then pinch the sides up so the cheese is hidden in the middle.
06 - Toss the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a big bowl. Use your hands to combine everything together.
07 - Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C) so it's hot when you're ready to bake.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Thick bacon holds together best, and you'll want your balls to hit 160°F (71°C) inside before digging in.
02 - Play with how much barbecue sauce you use till it's just how you like it.
