Dish it up onto plates while it's piping hot. Let it rest just a minute so nobody burns their mouth.
02 -
Get your oven heated to 350°F (about 175°C). Dump the beef-pasta mix into a baking pan. Cover it with the mozzarella. Let it bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
03 -
Toss in the al dente rigatoni noodles to the skillet. Give it a good mix so every bit of pasta gets some sauce.
04 -
Pour in the marinara and heavy cream with the beef. Stir it all up until the beef is coated.
05 -
Season the beef and onions with Italian blend, onion powder, garlic powder, plus some salt and pepper. Stir so the flavors get everywhere.
06 -
Heat up olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Drop in the chopped onion and stir it for 2–3 minutes until it softens. Add the ground beef, mash it up, and cook till it's brown and not pink. Dump out any extra fat.
07 -
Cook rigatoni according to the instructions on the box until there's a little bite left. Drain all the water and put it aside.
