Dish it up while it's hot. Eat right away if you can. You could have it with noodles or plain rice if you like.
02 -
Throw the crispy beef into your wok with all the veggies. Pour over that sauce you mixed up earlier. Toss everything on high heat for a couple minutes so it's glossy and everything sticks together.
03 -
Get your wok hot with a spoon of oil. Toss in onions for just a bit, then add the bell pepper and quickly cook those too.
04 -
Warm oil in a deep pan or wok to about 175°C. Drop in the beef pieces in a few rounds; cook until they're crisp and gold-colored. Lift out and let them drain on some kitchen towels or a rack for a moment.
05 -
Crack the egg right onto the marinated beef and mix it up. Toss the beef in the starch so it's totally covered. Keep the pieces separated and shake off any extra powder.
06 -
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, salt, sugar, and sweet chilli sauce. Whisk well and put aside for later.
07 -
Slice the steak thin. Dump in soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, sesame oil, sugar and white pepper. Mix it up, cover, and chill out for 15 minutes.
