Doritos Chicken Tenders (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 255 g Cool Ranch Doritos
02 - 1 kg chicken breast fillets, no skin or bones

→ Breading & Coating

03 - 180 ml whole milk
04 - 4 big eggs, whisked up
05 - 95 g plain flour

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Dish these out when they're still piping hot. Ranch or BBQ for dipping is awesome. Want extra color Throw on chopped green onions.
02 - Pop your tray in the hot oven. Bake everything for about 15–20 minutes. Flip the strips when halfway done. They're good once the inside hits 74°C and they're cooked through.
03 - Grab each chicken piece and dunk it in milk first. Next up, roll it in flour. Then, coat in egg. Last, cover it all over in those crushed Doritos. Once coated, pop it on the prepared tray.
04 - Set shallow bowls out for milk, flour, eggs, and the Doritos crumbs. Line 'em up for fast breading.
05 - Leave those chips in the bag and crush until they're chunky, like rough breadcrumbs.
06 - Take the chicken breasts and slice them into strips, about 8–10 cm long by 5–7 cm wide. Toss the pieces in a bowl and move on.
07 - Fire up your oven to 200°C. Cover two baking trays with foil or grease them up with a bit of olive oil. If you've got a wire rack, now's the time to use it on top of the tray.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Stick the strips on a wire rack instead of straight on the tray so they stay nice and crunchy all around.
02 - Let any leftovers cool down fully before popping into an airtight box. They'll keep in the fridge for four days, or freeze up to three months.
03 - Warm up leftovers with an air fryer or hot oven at 175°C. This keeps them crispy.
