# What You'll Need:

→ Wet Ingredients

01 - ½ cup melted butter (one stick or 4 oz)
02 - ¾ cup brown sugar
03 - ¼ cup white sugar
04 - 1 egg
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla

→ Dry Ingredients

06 - 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
07 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ Mix-ins

09 - ½ cup chocolate chips
10 - ¾ cup colorful candy pieces, split (like Easter M&M's and tiny Cadbury eggs)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350ºF. Give a 9-inch pie dish a quick spray with cooking spray and put it aside.
02 - Melt your butter in a big microwave-safe bowl. Stir in both sugars, add the vanilla, then mix in the egg until everything looks smooth.
03 - In another bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add this to your wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
04 - Gently mix in the chocolate chips and half the candy pieces. Save the other half of candy for later.
05 - Dump the dough into your greased pie dish and smooth the top flat. Bake around 25 minutes until it turns golden on top.
06 - Take it out and push the leftover candy into the hot surface right away. Let your cookie cake cool down before you cut it.

# Additional Tips:

01 - You'll need extra time for cooling.
02 - Mountain dwellers might need to tweak the recipe a bit.
