01 -
Give everything a good toss on medium heat so the noodles soak up all the flavors. Top with fresh herbs if that's your thing. Plate it up hot.
02 -
Stir in olive oil next. Add the drained noodles and toss in black pepper, that Italian blend, a bit of red pepper, and some salt. Splash in 1/4 cup of the pasta water, then add a little more if the pasta looks dry.
03 -
Drop chopped garlic in with the shrimp. Let it cook until the shrimp are no longer see-through and completely pink—about 5 to 7 minutes.
04 -
Over medium heat, melt your butter in a big pan. Add the shrimp and let them just start to curl and look pink, which only takes a few minutes.
05 -
While the spaghetti bubbles, rinse the shrimp and dab them dry with paper towels.
06 -
Boil a big pot of salted water. Toss in a little oil and some optional chopped herbs. Cook the noodles till they're just how you like 'em, 9 to 11 minutes. Save a cup of that water, drain, and set the noodles aside.
