Shrimp Garlic Butter Pasta (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Herbs

01 - Your choice of chopped fresh herbs, as much as you like

→ Seasonings

02 - Black pepper, to taste
03 - Sprinkle of red pepper flakes, to taste
04 - Add sea salt to taste
05 - A generous shake of Italian seasoning

→ Fats

06 - Split 3 tablespoons olive oil
07 - 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted

→ Aromatics

08 - 6-8 cloves garlic, chopped up super fine

→ Pasta

09 - 1 box (1 lb) of spaghetti noodles

→ Seafood

10 - 1 lb shrimp, peeled, no tails or veins

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Give everything a good toss on medium heat so the noodles soak up all the flavors. Top with fresh herbs if that's your thing. Plate it up hot.
02 - Stir in olive oil next. Add the drained noodles and toss in black pepper, that Italian blend, a bit of red pepper, and some salt. Splash in 1/4 cup of the pasta water, then add a little more if the pasta looks dry.
03 - Drop chopped garlic in with the shrimp. Let it cook until the shrimp are no longer see-through and completely pink—about 5 to 7 minutes.
04 - Over medium heat, melt your butter in a big pan. Add the shrimp and let them just start to curl and look pink, which only takes a few minutes.
05 - While the spaghetti bubbles, rinse the shrimp and dab them dry with paper towels.
06 - Boil a big pot of salted water. Toss in a little oil and some optional chopped herbs. Cook the noodles till they're just how you like 'em, 9 to 11 minutes. Save a cup of that water, drain, and set the noodles aside.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Want it extra tasty? Drizzle a little more good olive oil and finish with a generous sprinkle of parmesan before you eat.
