Chicken Caprese Grill (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 2 tablespoons fresh basil, cut thin
02 - Salt you like, and a few turns of pepper
03 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 4 ripe tomato slices
06 - 1 teaspoon Italian herb mix
07 - 4 chicken breasts, no skin or bones
08 - 4 big slices mozzarella

→ Balsamic Reduction

09 - 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
10 - 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pour that warm balsamic sauce over your chicken and dig in right away while it's still hot.
02 - Mix the brown sugar and balsamic vinegar in a small pot. Let it bubble gently on medium heat about 10 minutes while you stir now and then. You want it to be thick and syrupy. Keep it warm.
03 - Once the chicken's off the grill, pop a tomato slice and a bunch of basil strips on top of each piece.
04 - Set a slice of mozzarella on every chicken breast. Drop the grill lid and let the cheese get melty for a couple minutes.
05 - Spray your grill with non-stick stuff so it’s not sticky. Set the chicken breasts on and grill about 6 or 7 minutes each side, till they’re almost cooked all the way through.
06 - Heat your grill up to medium-high. Sprinkle both sides of your chicken with the Italian blend, garlic powder, onion powder, a little salt and pepper.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Wait 2 minutes after grilling before piling the toppings on, keeps the chicken nice and juicy.
