Cheddar Spinach Chicken (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
02 - 100 g fresh spinach, chopped up real small
03 - 450 g ground chicken
04 - 15 ml Dijon mustard
05 - 25 g breadcrumbs
06 - 40 g onion, finely diced
07 - Salt and ground black pepper, just enough
08 - Olive oil for the pan
09 - 60 g shredded white cheddar cheese
10 - 5 ml Worcestershire sauce

→ For Serving

11 - Lettuce leaves, if you want
12 - Sliced tomato, if you like
13 - Extra white cheddar cheese, if that's your thing
14 - 4 buns

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pop each patty on a bun and top with whatever you like, say lettuce, tomato, or more cheese. Enjoy right away.
02 - Let the cooked patties hang out on a plate for a few minutes before you build your burgers.
03 - Warm up your skillet or grill pan with a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Drop in the patties without crowding. Let them cook around 5–6 minutes each side, so they're golden brown and reach 75°C inside.
04 - Split the mix into 4 chunks and shape them into burger rounds, about 1.5 cm thick. Make a little dip in the center—that helps them cook even.
05 - Grab a big bowl. Toss in the ground chicken, onion, cheese, breadcrumbs, spinach, garlic, mustard, sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Gently blend just until everything's mixed and together.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Don't stir your ground chicken mixture too much. Letting patties rest after cooking keeps them extra juicy and flavorful.
