July 4th Blue Pop (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 oz blue raspberry syrup or blue sports beverage
02 - 1 oz raspberry syrup or plain raspberry juice
03 - 1 oz coconut cream or coconut water
04 - 2 oz fizzy lemon-lime drink
05 - ½ oz tangy mixer or mix of equal lemon juice and sugar syrup
06 - Ice cubes

→ Garnishes

07 - Fluffy cream
08 - Blue sugar crystals, for edge coating or topping

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Wet the edge of your fancy glass with a bit of water or lemon. Roll it in blue sugar crystals until coated. Put it aside.
02 - Fill your cocktail mixer with ice, then pour in your blue raspberry stuff, regular raspberry liquid, coconut drink, and that tangy mixer.
03 - Give everything a strong shake for about 10-15 seconds till it's nice and cold and all mixed up.
04 - Dump the bright blue mix into your sugar-rimmed glass with fresh ice, or go fancy without ice in a martini glass if you want.
05 - Pour some lemon-lime soda on top to make it bubbly and bring out all the tastes.
06 - Top with a big swirl of fluffy cream and sprinkle some blue sugar on top for that real 'Papa Smurf' look.
07 - Best when you sip it right away while it's cold and looks awesome.

# Additional Tips:

01 - If you want a deeper blue color, just add a tiny bit of blue food dye when your syrup isn't blue enough.
02 - Keep everything cold in your fridge before mixing for an extra refreshing sip.
03 - Try using those see-through ice chunks for a fancier look that won't make your blue drink cloudy.
04 - Want more fruity flavor? Smash a few raspberries at the bottom of your glass first.
05 - Having friends over? Just double or triple everything and add a whole bottle of soda with dollops of cream on top.
06 - For a thicker, creamier drink, go with coconut cream instead of the water version.
