Brussels Air Fryer Parmesan (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Cheese

01 - 3 tbsp parmesan, finely grated

→ Vegetables

02 - 450 g brussels sprouts, ends sliced off, halved, and washed

→ Seasonings

03 - 0.25 tsp salt
04 - 0.5 tsp ground black pepper, add more if you’d like
05 - 0.5 tsp onion powder
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder

→ Oils and Fats

07 - 45 ml olive or veggie oil

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Right after cooking, toss the last spoonful of parmesan over your warm brussels sprouts. Dig in while they're still hot.
02 - Let them air fry for another 7 to 10 minutes until you see a golden crunch and they feel soft inside.
03 - Pause halfway through, give the basket a little shake so the sprouts get evenly crispy, and keep cooking.
04 - Carefully dump your seasoned sprouts into the air fryer basket and pop them in for about 7 minutes.
05 - Crank the air fryer up to 175°C and let it heat for a couple of minutes before adding anything.
06 - Toss your halved brussels in a big bowl with the oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and two-thirds of the parmesan. Coat them well.
07 - Rinse the brussels sprouts, trim off those tough stems, and slice them down the middle. Dry them off with a towel so they’ll crisp up.

# Additional Tips:

01 - If you want extra soft brussels sprouts, start cooking at 160°C for about 7 to 10 minutes. Then bump it up to 175°C for a few more minutes until the tops are crispy. Keep in mind, your air fryer might cook a bit differently, so watch closely.
