Peri Peri Wings Airfryer (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken Wings

01 - About 12 chicken wing pieces, weighing 1-1/4 pounds
02 - 1/3 cup cornstarch
03 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Peri Peri Sauce

05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1-1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
08 - 2 teaspoons ground peri peri pepper
09 - 2 tablespoons vinegar
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
11 - 3 tablespoons Louisiana-style hot sauce
12 - 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

# Steps to Follow:

01 - While the wings are still hot, drop them into a big bowl and pour peri peri sauce over. Coat them well and pass them around right away.
02 - Lay your wings out on the air fryer tray so they’re not stacked. Set the heat to 390°F (199°C). Fry for 35 to 40 minutes, flip them every 10 minutes so they cook up even and get crispy all over.
03 - Start by giving the chicken pieces a good pat dry. Sprinkle on the black pepper and a little salt. Toss them around in cornstarch until they’re covered, but shake off any extra powder.
04 - Grab a bowl. Dump in melted butter, hot sauce, lemon juice, vinegar, peri peri pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Give it all a good whisk and leave it aside for a sec.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Get your wings super crispy by drying them really well before tossing them in cornstarch.
