Crispy BBQ Tostadas (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Garnish

01 - If you’d like, slice up 3 green onions thin for topping

→ Protein

02 - Grab about 3 cups of shredded chicken, already cooked

→ Sauce

03 - Split up 1 and a half cups of barbecue sauce for mixing and topping

→ Cheese

04 - Get 2 cups shredded cheese—cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or mix ‘em up

→ Tostada Base

05 - Place 8 tostada shells or 8 corn tortillas on a tray, brush with olive oil, and bake until they're crunchy, flipping each side for about 3 to 5 minutes

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Once they’re out, drizzle the leftover 1/2 cup barbecue sauce all over. Toss on green onions if you like. You can dig in right away.
02 - Slide the tray into the oven for 6 to 8 minutes, just until the cheese is gooey and melted up top.
03 - Pile the barbecue chicken mix onto the shells. Layer about a quarter cup of your cheese on each one.
04 - Mix your 3 cups of shredded chicken with 1 cup of the barbecue sauce in a bowl. Make sure everything gets saucy and coated well.
05 - Turn the oven on to 350°F. Lay the tostada shells or ready-baked tortillas in one layer across a couple rimmed baking sheets.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Want super crispy shells? Try baking corn tortillas brushed with olive oil instead of grabbing store-bought shells.
