# What You'll Need:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 2 cups regular flour
02 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
03 - ½ teaspoon salt
04 - ¾ cup melted unsalted butter
05 - 1 cup brown sugar, packed down
06 - ½ cup white sugar
07 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla
08 - 1 whole large egg
09 - 1 yolk from an egg
10 - 2 cups chocolate chips

→ Cream Cheese Center

11 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese
12 - ¼ cup white sugar
13 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set oven to 325°F (165°C) and put parchment on your cookie sheets.
02 - Grab a bowl and stir flour, baking soda, and salt together.
03 - In a different bowl, stir melted butter with both sugars until it's nice and creamy.
04 - Mix in the vanilla, whole egg, and extra yolk until everything looks combined.
05 - Slowly add the flour mixture to your wet ingredients. Gently fold chocolate chips in at the end.
06 - In another bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until it's smooth and creamy.
07 - Roll dough into balls, make a dent in each one, drop in some filling, then cover with extra dough.
08 - Put cookies on your lined sheet and bake about 15-18 minutes until the edges turn golden.
09 - Keep cookies on the hot sheet for 5 minutes, then move them to a cooling rack.
