Cheese Salami Bites (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Filling

01 - Freshly ground black pepper as much as you like
02 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
04 - 2 teaspoons dried chives
05 - 8 ounces cream cheese that’s nice and soft

→ Wrap

06 - 12 slices of salami (choose your fave, about 3 inches wide each)

→ Optional Garnish and Accompaniment

07 - Pretzel sticks for dipping or munching alongside
08 - Pitted green olives for topping off

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Stack up those roll ups on a dish. Pretzel sticks go next to them. Enjoy right away or stash in the fridge until you’re hungry.
02 - If you want, poke a green olive on top of each roll using the toothpick. Makes it look awesome and adds extra bite.
03 - Roll each salami up from one edge to the other so the filling’s tucked in snug. Pop a toothpick in each to keep ’em rolled tight.
04 - Drop some of that cheesy mixture on every slice of salami. Smooth it out over the surface, making sure to cover as close to the edges as you can.
05 - Put the salami rounds in a single layer on your clean board or countertop so they’re set for building.
06 - Drop the softened cream cheese into a bowl. Toss in the chives, onion flakes, garlic powder, and crank in your pepper. Mix until you’ve got one smooth blend.

# Additional Tips:

01 - If you're after less fat, swap cream cheese for some tangy Greek yogurt or a light spread.
02 - Mix in fresh parsley or dill if you feel like changing up the taste.
03 - Spice lovers can chop jalapeños and stir them into the mix!
