05 - Black pepper and salt as needed
06 - 2 tablespoons oil from olives

07 - 1 cup white rice, long-grain type
08 - 2 cups broth made from chicken
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ For the Creamy Sauce

10 - 2 tablespoons butter without salt
11 - 2 tablespoons flour for all uses
12 - 1 1/2 cups milk (whole)
13 - 1/2 cup broth from chicken
14 - 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
15 - 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
16 - 1/2 cup cheese (cheddar, shredded)
17 - 1/2 cup cheese (Parmesan, grated)
18 - Chopped fresh parsley to top it off

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Mix powdered garlic, onion, smoky paprika, salt and black pepper on your chicken. Get your large skillet hot with olive oil on medium-high. Cook the chicken until it's golden, about 4-5 minutes each side. Take it out and put it aside for now.
02 - Grab your medium pot and boil the chicken broth with salt. Put in your rice, turn the heat down low, cover it up, and let it cook for 15-18 minutes. The rice should soak up all the liquid. Use a fork to fluff it up when done.
03 - Using that same chicken skillet, melt your butter on medium heat. Add flour and stir for a minute or two until it looks slightly golden. Pour in milk and broth bit by bit while stirring. Don't stop stirring or it'll clump! Add your garlic powder, thyme, and both cheeses. Cook it for 3-4 minutes until it gets thick and the cheese melts completely.
04 - Put your chicken back in the skillet and pour that creamy sauce all over it. Cover the pan and let everything simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Your chicken should be fully cooked and super tender.
05 - Put some rice on each plate, add your saucy chicken on top, and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve it while it's hot!

# Additional Tips:

01 - Wanna make it even tastier? Throw in some cooked mushrooms or sweet onions to the sauce.
02 - If you like thick sauce, just let it bubble a bit longer or toss in some extra cheese.
03 - Try brown rice instead of white for a nutty taste, but you'll need to cook it about 40 minutes.
