Warm up your griddle to 350°F or put a skillet on medium heat.

Pour cereal onto a flat pie dish or regular plate.

Throw eggs, milk, flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla in a blender or shallow bowl. Mix it all up good. Don't worry about tiny flour clumps if you're using a whisk.

Soak each bread slice in the egg mix, flip it over, then press both sides into the cereal until it sticks.

Drop a bit of butter on your hot griddle or skillet. Lay down your coated bread and let it cook until it's golden on the bottom. Flip it over and brown the other side too.
