# What You'll Need:

→ Sauce Base

01 - Salt to your liking
02 - Black pepper however much you like
03 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - 1 tablespoon onion powder
05 - 1 tablespoon garlic powder
06 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
07 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
09 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
10 - 1 cup ketchup
11 - 1 cup Dr. Pepper

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Start by tossing the black pepper, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, apple cider vinegar, Dr. Pepper, ketchup, soy sauce, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and some salt in a medium pot.
02 - Put your pot over medium heat and stir now and then until it really bubbles.
03 - Turn the heat down low and cook it slow for 20 to 30 minutes. Give it a stir once in a while so it doesn't stick. Let it get nice and thick.
04 - Give the sauce a try and toss in more salt or pepper if you think it needs it.
05 - Take off the heat and let it hang out until it cools down. Pour the sauce into a sealed container and stash it in the fridge. It'll be good for a week.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Craving extra spice? Try throwing in a pinch of cayenne or a splash of hot sauce.
02 - Want it sweeter or more tangy? Tweak the brown sugar or the vinegar.
03 - Goes awesome as a dip or paired with anything grilled.
