01 -
Chop the mozzarella string cheese into small, bite-sized chunks.
02 -
Take a medium bowl and beat the eggs thoroughly. Pour in the milk and mix well until everything's combined.
03 -
Get three bowls ready in this order: flour in the first, egg-milk mix in the second, and bread crumbs in the last one.
04 -
Take each cheese piece and first drop it in flour, then dunk in the egg mix, and finally cover it with bread crumbs. Put them on a plate when done.
05 -
Pour about 2 inches of veggie oil in a medium pan and heat to 350°F (180°C). You'll know it's ready when bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle dipped in the oil.
06 -
Grab a plate and cover it with paper towels.
07 -
Drop 5-7 cheese chunks into the hot oil at once, keeping them apart so they don't stick together. Let them cook for around 30 seconds until they turn golden.
08 -
Scoop out the cooked cheese bites with a slotted spoon and put them on your paper towel plate to get rid of extra oil.
09 -
Keep cooking batches until all cheese pieces are done. Eat them right away, either plain or with some pasta sauce.
