Take your dish out and rest it for 5 minutes so it's easier to slice and serve.

Drop it in at 375°F for roughly 20–25 minutes. Watch for melty cheese with golden spots and hot dogs starting to blister.

Toss all that cheddar over everything so it covers the top but let the ends of the hot dogs poke out.

Stick your hot dogs upright in the chili layer, space them out as evenly as you can.

Dump the chili mixture into your greased casserole dish and spread it out evenly.

Dump in tomato sauce, tomato paste, kidney beans, chili powder, garlic and onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well with the beef and let it bubble 10 to 15 minutes until it gets nice and thick.

Toss your ground beef in a big pan over medium-high heat. Crumble it up as you cook and drain the extra grease.

Fire up your oven to 375°F and give your 9×13 pan a quick grease.
