Chili Cheese Dog Supreme (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Chili Layer

01 - Salt and pepper, use as much as you want
02 - 1/2 teaspoon smoky paprika
03 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 2 tablespoons chili spice
06 - 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
07 - 1 (8 ounce) can of tomato sauce
08 - 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
09 - 1 and a half pounds ground beef

→ Assembly

10 - 3 and 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, sharp kind
11 - 12 hot dogs, beef or turkey

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Take your dish out and rest it for 5 minutes so it's easier to slice and serve.
02 - Drop it in at 375°F for roughly 20–25 minutes. Watch for melty cheese with golden spots and hot dogs starting to blister.
03 - Toss all that cheddar over everything so it covers the top but let the ends of the hot dogs poke out.
04 - Stick your hot dogs upright in the chili layer, space them out as evenly as you can.
05 - Dump the chili mixture into your greased casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
06 - Dump in tomato sauce, tomato paste, kidney beans, chili powder, garlic and onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well with the beef and let it bubble 10 to 15 minutes until it gets nice and thick.
07 - Toss your ground beef in a big pan over medium-high heat. Crumble it up as you cook and drain the extra grease.
08 - Fire up your oven to 375°F and give your 9×13 pan a quick grease.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Like it spicy? Toss in jalapeños or a dash of cayenne. Can't find kidney beans? Black or pinto beans totally work. Use veggie dogs if you're skipping meat.
