Shrimp Garlic Butter Stack (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Shrimp Mix

01 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
02 - 2 cloves garlic, chopped up
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 pound raw shrimp, shells and veins off
05 - 1/4 cup butter, unsalted

→ Rice Base

06 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
08 - 2 cups regular rice
09 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
10 - 3 cups chicken stock

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Dish it out hot right away. If you like, toss some green herbs on top or throw a salad or some veggies on the side.
02 - Plop the garlicky shrimp and steamy rice in layers, swapping each one, onto your serving dish or plate. Makes it look great.
03 - Drop the butter in your skillet and let it melt over medium-high heat. Tip in the garlic and give it about a minute with constant stirring so it smells awesome. Toss in the shrimp, sprinkle with pepper and salt, and flip them a couple minutes each side till they're pink and done.
04 - Pour your chicken broth into a big pot and fire it up to a boil. Add in the rice, sesame oil, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Turn the heat super low, put the lid on, and let it barely bubble for 20-25 minutes so the liquid disappears and your rice gets soft.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Craving a kick? Toss in some crushed red pepper with the shrimp while it cooks.
02 - Quinoa or couscous swaps in for rice just fine if you're feeling different.
03 - This goes awesome with a crisp green salad or just some quick-steamed veggies.
