Tangy Hibiscus Blend (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 2 cups water
02 - 2 hibiscus tea bags or 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
03 - ½ cup strawberries
04 - ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
05 - 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup, add more or less to your liking

→ Optional Garnishes

06 - Strawberry slices
07 - Lemon wedges
08 - Mint sprigs

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Boil water in your kettle. Take it off the heat and drop in the hibiscus tea bags or dried flowers. Let them soak for 5-7 minutes. Take out the bags or strain the flowers. Set aside to cool down.
02 - Clean and cut your strawberries. Toss them in a blender with ¼ cup of the cooled hibiscus tea. Whizz until smooth. You can strain it through a fine mesh or bag if you want it silkier.
03 - Pour the rest of your cooled tea into a big pitcher. Add the strawberry mix, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Give it a good stir. Taste and tweak by adding more syrup or lemon juice.
04 - Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour your drink over them. Top with lemon bits, fresh strawberry pieces, and mint if you want. Time to drink up!

# Additional Tips:

01 - You can make the hibiscus tea up to three days ahead and keep it in the fridge to cut down on prep time.
