Mango Matcha Drink (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup frozen mango bits or 1 soft mango, peeled, stone removed, and diced up

→ Matcha Layer

02 - 2–3 tablespoons water
03 - 2 teaspoons top-notch matcha green tea powder

→ Liquid & Sweetener

04 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (go with your sweet tooth or skip if you want)
05 - 1 cup almond milk, split in half (pick oat milk, coconut milk, or any kind you like)

→ Serve

06 - A handful of ice
07 - Tiny bit of sea salt

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Chop up your mango after peeling and removing the pit. Or just measure out a cup of frozen pieces.
02 - Pour half of the almond milk into your blender with the mango. Blend it all together until you’ve got a smooth mix.
03 - Whisk that matcha with 2 to 3 tablespoons of water in a small bowl. You want a smooth liquid. No lumps allowed. Use a frother to make it extra nice if you want.
04 - Drop the mango puree into your glass first. Toss in some ice so the glass is half full. Pour the rest of the almond milk over everything.
05 - Carefully pour the matcha mix right over the milk for cool layers. If you’re feeling sweet, add your syrup or honey across the top.
06 - Top it all off with a pinch of sea salt for a tasty kick. Give it a stir before sipping so everything’s mixed up and you get every flavor.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Pick juicy, sweet-smelling mangoes and go for ceremonial grade matcha if you can. Adjust the sweet stuff to taste — really ripe mango means you might want less.
