Tart Grapefruit Paloma (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - Salt or Tajin to coat the glass edge (if you want)
02 - Pinch of sea salt
03 - 0.25 tsp apple cider vinegar or go for alcohol-free tequila
04 - 2 oz grapefruit juice, squeezed right before
05 - 4 oz club soda or grapefruit soda—totally your call (optional)
06 - 0.5 oz maple syrup or your favorite sweetener
07 - 1 oz lime juice, squeezed fresh

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pour your chilled mix over some fresh ice in a tumbler. Add plain or grapefruit soda if you like. Pop on a garnish and send it out right away.
02 - Drop 3–4 ice cubes in. Close the shaker and shake it up for about 15–20 seconds so everything's super cold.
03 - In a jar or cocktail shaker, pour in the grapefruit juice, lime juice, sweetener, apple cider vinegar, and a bit of sea salt.
04 - Spread some salt or Tajin on a plate. Rub a wedge of lime or grapefruit along your glass's edge, then dip and twist it in the salt or Tajin so it sticks just a little.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Maple syrup's got the best balance but you can totally use honey, simple syrup, monkfruit, or Stevia instead.
02 - Apple cider vinegar gives a light tartness while non-alcoholic tequila adds deep flavor, like the classic version.
03 - Try sparkling water, grapefruit soda, or plain club soda for a bubbly, fresh splash.
