Get two big baking sheets and cover them with parchment or silicon mats. Put them aside for now.

Throw the butter, white sugar, milk, and cocoa in a pot. Heat it up to medium and stir now and then until it bubbles. Let it bubble hard for a minute.

Take the pot off the heat and dump in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir till it's smooth. Add the oats and mix everything together well.

Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mix for each cookie onto your lined trays. Let them sit and firm up at room temp for about 20-30 minutes.
