Velvet Cookie Dough (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Mix-Ins

01 - 60 g mini chocolate chips

→ Dry Ingredients

02 - 85 g all-purpose flour, warmed up for safety
03 - 7 g unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1.5 g salt

→ Liquid Ingredients

05 - 15 ml milk
06 - 5 ml vanilla extract
07 - 7 ml red food coloring

→ Dough Base

08 - 60 ml unsalted butter, brought to room temp
09 - 50 g white sugar
10 - 50 g brown sugar, packed tight

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Flip your oven on to 175°C (350°F). Dump the flour onto a baking tray, spread it out, and pop it in for about 5 minutes. Give it a stir here and there. Check that it hits 74°C (165°F) with your thermometer, then let it cool totally.
02 - Grab your big bowl and whip up the soft butter with both sugars till it's all smooth and comes together nicely.
03 - Splash in the milk, vanilla, and that red food gel. Stir it up until everything's blended smoothly.
04 - Once the flour’s cool, add it in along with the cocoa and salt. Keep mixing till there aren't any powdery bits left.
05 - Fold those mini chocolate chips through so they're spread throughout the dough.
06 - Scoop the dough into bowls or pile on top of your favorite desserts. Dig in!

01 - Wait until the flour is cooled down before mixing it in, so your butter doesn't turn to mush.
