Southern Spicy Chicken (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
02 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
03 - 3–4 boneless chicken breast pieces, no skin (about one and a half pounds)
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded
06 - 1 teaspoon paprika
07 - 8 oz spaghetti, uncooked
08 - 1 cup fresh bell peppers, chopped up
09 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Wait five minutes after pulling it from the oven, then toss some green onions on and dig in while it's warm.
02 - Pop that dish in your oven. Bake for about half an hour or so—look for bubbly cheese turning golden and delicious.
03 - In a big bowl, throw together all the shredded chicken, pasta, both peppers, the soup, garlic powder, cayenne, paprika, and half of your cheese. Mix well so everything’s buddies.
04 - Fill up a big pot with salted water and get it boiling. Dump in the spaghetti and cook until it feels just right—usually 8 to 10 minutes. Drain it and leave it for later.
05 - Set your chicken breasts into a big pot and let them cook over medium for close to 7 minutes a side, till browned and cooked through. Let them cool, then pull apart with forks.
06 - Fire the oven up to 350 degrees F (about 175 C) and spread a little oil or spray onto your casserole dish to keep things from sticking.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Craving more spice? Bump up the cayenne or toss some jalapeño bits in with the bell peppers.
02 - Swap out some cheddar for Monterey Jack if you’re after something a bit milder.
