# What You'll Need:

→ Topping

01 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
02 - 85 g all-purpose flour
03 - 110 g brown sugar
04 - 60 g old fashioned oats
05 - 75 g salted butter, melted

→ Fruit

06 - 150 g strawberries, sliced
07 - 3 medium peaches, peeled and sliced (about 600 g)

→ Syrup

08 - 80 ml water
09 - 0.13 teaspoon salt
10 - 9 g cornstarch
11 - 55 g brown sugar
12 - 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pop the pan on the oven’s top rack and set it to broil for a couple of minutes, just till the top gets crisp. Don’t walk away so it doesn’t burn.
02 - Move your dish to the middle oven rack and bake at 175°C for 35 minutes till the top looks nicely golden.
03 - Scatter whatever oat mixture you have left all over the fruit and syrup.
04 - Take the syrup off heat, mix in vanilla right away, and pour it all over the fruit layer.
05 - Stir brown sugar, cornstarch, a little salt, and water together in a tiny pot on medium-high. Mix the whole time. After about 2 minutes, it’ll get thick.
06 - Layer the sliced strawberries and peaches over the base oats in your pan. Don’t worry about making it perfect.
07 - Spread half your oat crumb onto the bottom of a greased 23x23 cm square baking pan and press it down gently.
08 - Dump oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix it with your hands or a fork until it looks crumbly.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Pick sweet, juicy peaches and fresh strawberries for the best flavor. Let things cool off a bit before eating so it holds together better.
