Sweet Berry Frozen Delight (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 cup white sugar
02 - 3 cups water
03 - 5 cups chopped strawberries, fresh or frozen (roughly 2 pounds)
04 - 2 tablespoons juice from lemon or lime

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Wash strawberries well and cut into quarters. Put them aside.
02 - Combine water and sugar in a medium pot, heat on medium-high until it just starts bubbling, stir until sugar melts completely. Take off heat and cool down.
03 - Add the cooled syrup, juice, and cut strawberries to a big bowl.
04 - Working with small amounts if your machine is small, puree in a blender or food processor until silky smooth.
05 - Empty the mixture into a container that won't break in the freezer and leave it overnight or at least 6 hours.
06 - Any leftover sorbet will stay good in the freezer for about 2 weeks.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For extra smooth texture, don't skip using your blender or food processor.
02 - Grab an ice cream container if you have one - they're perfect for freezing sorbet.
