01 -
Get the pizza sauce left over nice and hot, then put it out for dunking your pizza bread.
02 -
Pop it into your hot oven. Let it bake about 20 to 25 minutes, until the top turns a deep golden color and the dough's cooked.
03 -
Now, brush melted butter on the outside and shower on some grated Parmesan and the remaining dried oregano.
04 -
Cut both long sides of the dough into strips. Fold them across the filling, criss-crossing to wrap everything up.
05 -
Put 1/2 cup pizza sauce in the middle of your dough. Top with provolone, a pile of pepperoni, the beef mix, and then mozzarella cheese.
06 -
Unroll that chilled pizza dough and lay it flat on a rimmed baking sheet.
07 -
Let the beef cool a bit, then stir in about a third of your pizza sauce.
08 -
Toss the ground beef in a big skillet with oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring now and then, until it’s not pink. Dump out any grease.
09 -
Crank your oven to 400°F (205°C) first thing so it’s hot when you’re ready.
